Dr. Seal is a board certified, fellowship trained orthopedic spine surgeon focusing on both operative, and non operative treatments to the spine. During his 21 years in practice he has provided exemplary care to his patients treating a wide array of spinal disorders. Dr. Seal focuses on customized care that is going to allow patients to return to previous quality of life before spinal disease. In this process, he utilizes both operative and non-operative treatments tailored to the individual patient. Throughout his career he has also published numerous articles in medical literature and presented his research at national meetings focusing on spinal disorders .
Dr. Seal graduated from Texas A&M University, Magna Cum Laude with a B.S., where he also played varsity football for the Aggies. During his undergraduate work, he studied for one year at Lancaster University, in England, and also participated on the school’s rugby team.
Dr. Seal earned his M.D. at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He completed his orthopedic surgery internship and residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center & R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Following his residency training, Dr. Seal completed his training at the prestigious Bohlman Spine Surgery Fellowship at Case Western Reserve/University Hospitals of Cleveland in Ohio.
Dr. Seal utilizes the most advanced minimally invasive, motion sparing techniques including Robotics, Artifical Disc Replacement, and cutting edge approaches to minimize surgical pain, reduce recovery, and maximize patient outcomes
